The Genesis

Building the Tools to Solve Real Problems

In spring of 2008, Darkstrand purchased one-half the fiber optic capacity of the most powerful research backbone in the country: the National LambdaRail (NLR). We became the exclusive commercializing company for the network, and its affiliated high performance computing facilities and research teams. That capped off a 3-year development plan to build a network to service the data transport and collaboration needs of corporate America.
